Customer Screening pools
Customers can use any of our CRISPR or shRNA lentiviral vectors for creating custom screening pools.
- Client identifies genes of interest to be targeted (i.e. druggable genes) and desired vector
- Skyang uses its gRNA algorithm or shRNA algorithm to design targeting gRNAs or shRNA
- Skyang synthesizes gRNAs or shRNAs and clones into vector backbone
- The screening pool is qualified by Next-Gen Sequencing to ensure equal representation of every construct.
- Skyang packages the screening pool into viral particles and performs functional titer analysis.
Customer Screening Pools QC
Skyang Bio offers a Certificate of Analysis for all screening pools, showing distribution of gRNAs/shRNAs as determined by Nex–Gen Sequencing.Â
Lentiviral pools will be evaluated by functional viral titer*.
*Skyang Bio performs a functional titer on all lentiviral particles delivered. Functional titer analysis (opposed to physical titer analysis) is a more accurate measurement for calculating MOIs that are used in screening experiments.
